A look back at Carmen, a touring landscape opera

Staged by Jeanne Desoubeaux and directed by Jérémie Arcache and Igor Bouin, with the Maurice et les autres company, Carmen opéra-paysage itinérant was presented at the Gentilly village hall in early June 2024.

A number of artistic and cultural education initiatives were organized around the show:

• 860 Plateau de Haye residents reached, including 200 who attended the three performances;
• 66 hours of artistic practice and awareness-raising workshops, led by the Opéra with teenagers from the Centre social la Clairière, culminating in 1 musical theater performance on June 8 for 50 people;
• workshops conducted in partnership with Le MEMÔ, an artistic workshop for Plateau residents;
• and last but not least, children's workshops during the performances, which enabled us to organize a convivial time after each show.
