Since the death of his wife, the Countess Constanza de Chaligny, a famous Argentine singer, not a single inhabitant of Nancy, not a gossip, not a watchman, has caught the Count leaving his palace. The doors have remained locked and the windows veiled for ten years.

Once a leading figure of Nancy society, no one knows if he is still alive, or if he is, what he is doing there. However, the wisps of smoke billowing from the cowls on the roof at the end of each winter's day suggest that someone is still living in the palace. Some people claim to have seen figures moving stealthily behind the windows. Others say they have heard distant melodies emanating from the bowels of the large building, whose exceptional location in the heart of the city, on Place Stanislas, continues to attract tireless attention.

Since then, rumour has it that in autumn 2024, the doors of the palace will reopen for an evening that promises to be unforgettable...
