On the one hand, Marco Berrettini, an Italian born in Germany and now working in Switzerland, will present Songlines, a piece that questions our relationship with sedentariness: why are humans the most restless and dissatisfied of all animals? Why do wanderers see the world as perfect, while sedentary people are always trying to change it? Songlines is a piece that attempts to find answers, through choreography. A dance made in a magical space, made up of force fields, sacred places and points of light, where our outer and inner lives are one.
Next, Michele Di Stefano will explore the adaptability of a collective mind in the face of chaos, exploring the idea that the group of dancers performing a choreography is an organism in its own right, endowed with its own intelligence and capable of adapting to constraints as well as transgressing them.
