An international evening, which will pay tribute to power and possibilities of the ensemble.
On one hand, the Australian Adam Linder will present Acid Gems, a form that explores a possible encounter between dances, styles and influences, letting them touch and cross each other, in order to reveal as much as possible their porosity, their fragility, and the poetry that stems from it. Inspired by Balanchine's Jewels, who wanted to pay homage to three great schools of dance (French, Russian and American) and their respective specificities, Adam Linder will question the vocabulary of ballet, to better observe its possible evolutions and its anchoring in the contemporary.
On the other hand, the Franco-American Michèle Murray who, with Dancefloor, wishes to create a piece whose starting point would be the bodies and their individuality, considering them as the very material of choreography. Her goal is simple: to allow a group, through the same collective research, to invest and take total ownership of this place of expression and freedom called the dance floor, or the stage.
A program to celebrate the very notion of group dance, and all that it contains of energy, strength and complexity.
