What a disaster! The concert takes place in a week but all the musicians have gone on holiday: the violinist to Tokyo, the harpist to Porto, the trumpet player to Rio, the flutist to Abidjan... The conductor has to go looking for them with the only clue being the postcards they have sent him. But in the dark cities of the world, it's not easy to get your hands on the musicians!
When in 2016 illustrator Chloé Perarnau published L'Orchestre, a brilliant hunt-and-seek on the principle of Où est Charlie? in 2016, she had no idea of the success that awaited her. Her book itself has travelled around the world, translated into more than ten languages.
Today, the pictures are coming out of the pages to go on stage, to music and in large-scale. With the help of composer Rachel Leach, the musicians of the Orchestra set these crazy adventures to music, accompanied by original sketches drawn live during the concert. A crazy treasure hunt around the world that will delight young and old alike.
